Amrith Rangan leads AKAS Infusions, India’s largest manufacturer of syringe and infusion pumps. As a second-generation entrepreneur, he successfully scaled the company from the third to the top market position in just three years.

With a BTech in Engineering Design and an MTech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Madras, he brings a strong technical foundation to his leadership role. He is also pursuing an Executive Education Program at IIM Bangalore, focusing on entrepreneurship and family businesses.

Under his leadership, AKAS is dedicated to building import-substitute medical equipment, providing world-class products at affordable prices for Indian hospitals. The company’s goal is to create products that exceed German engineering, with quality surpassing Japanese standards and customer service that outperforms American benchmarks—all for the advancement of Indian healthcare.
